hey- we’re very pleased to put out some super-heady jams from the 12.12.12 show, which, as some of you may know, was the nine year anniversary of the first show as THE WILES. check out this absolutely tyrannical PIZZASAURUS-

and what about THE ESSENCE OF LIFE???? yeah, the sound quality is shit in terms of where the vocals sit and everything, but fucking a- if these jams don’t make up for it.

THE WOOKSTOCK FESTIVAL – 6/9/12

yes, we played a grateful dead song at wookstock…. but we wont bother here with the actual song itself- just the jams brahz….

hey y’all- we’re going to be posting the headiest jams from the spring of 2012 right on this here website! we’ll be going through one show at a time and we’ll be featuring at least two things from every show since there was no shortage of headiness. let’s start with the first show of the run, where the fabled “fatman in tokyo” was pitted against the infamous malcontent, “pizzasaurus”. some of you may remember the flyer from this show:

but let’s see how the jams played out… fatman > pizzasaurus, unedited, with only a slight cut from where the one song connects to the other.

MISTAKE is the second full length album from the wiles, recorded in the fall of 2008 and released in July of 2010, consisting of eight new songs. the album was engineered, mixed and produced by the wiles and mastered by keith saunders of exotic recordings. special thanks goes to damian panetta for helping put together the art work for the album.
